Officer Keith Morvant was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was raised there until his family moved to Bartlesville in ‘97. He graduated from Bartlesville High School and attended college at RSU for Criminal Justice. He has been married for 20 years, and has an 18-year-old son who is currently in college. 

He began his law enforcement career with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and transitioned to the Police Department in 2019. Prior to that he was a route leader for the City of Bartlesville sanitation department. 

Officer Morvant graduated CLEET in March of 2016, and served as a patrol deputy and entry team member on the SWAT team until coming to the PD. He is certified CLEET instructor, and is currently a Field Training Officer for the PD. He also spent majority of last year in CID investigating financial crimes. 

When asked what he likes best about working for our department, Officer Morvant stated, “I like working for the PD because every day is something new. We have a great group of officers, and we all love serving our community. Every day we get to make Bartlesville a little better than the day before”. 

Officer Morvant’s hobbies include building and shooting guns, riding bikes, and above all else……… GOLF!!! Every…….. single…….. day!

Officer Morvant says that his family is his inspiration for everything, because without them he wouldn’t be half the person he is today.
