Congressman Josh Brecheen has reintroduced the Patriotism Not Pride Act, aiming to restrict federal agencies from using taxpayer funds to promote Pride Month or events with similar themes. The legislation also seeks to ban the display of flags representing gender identity or sexual orientation on federal property.
“Our national flag is a symbol of the enduring principles that define our nation. When federal institutions display flags or use funding to promote destructive ideologies, it undermines the dignity of all Americans,” stated Congressman Brecheen.
He further emphasized, “Symbols matter. As our culture continues to decline in our country across all political lines, we chose to reintroduce this bill to reaffirm our commitment to truth, even when it is unpopular.”
The bill’s original co-sponsors include Representatives Mary Miller, Glenn Grothman, Brandon Gill, Paul Gosar, Mike Collins, and Anna Luna. An exclusive report on the bill by George Caldwell from Daily Signal is available for those seeking more details.
