Congressman Josh Brecheen has announced a series of in-person town halls across Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District for August. Residents are encouraged to attend, share their views, and ask questions about policy matters affecting both Oklahoma and the country.
Since beginning his first term in Congress in 2023, Brecheen has held 106 in-person town halls, visiting every county within the district. He succeeded Markwayne Mullin as the representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd district and previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Brecheen was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and now lives in Coalgate. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree.
The schedule for the upcoming town halls spans four days from August 25 to August 28, with stops including McAlester, Checotah, Muskogee, Wagoner, Bartlesville, Nowata, Vinita, Miami, Grove, Pryor, Okmulgee, Claremore, Tahlequah, Stilwell, Sallisaw, Poteau, Idabel, Hugo, Atoka and Durant.
