Congressman Josh Brecheen has expressed support for the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) recent message directed at individuals who have entered the United States illegally. In a statement released Tuesday, Brecheen said, “I am grateful to President Trump and Secretary Noem for their leadership removing dangerous illegal aliens from our country. These criminals have preyed on innocent Americans for far too long and are now being hunted by justice.”
Brecheen is currently serving in the U.S. Congress as the representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd district, a position he has held since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before his tenure in Congress, Brecheen served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018.
Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979, Brecheen is 43 years old and resides in Coalgate. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
