The tuition fee at Oklahoma Wesleyan University rose by 2.6% for the 2022-23 school year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Students enrolled at the private, four-year not-for-profit institution paid $30,262 this year, which is $764 higher than the $29,498 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Approximately 39% of the undergraduate student body are residents of Oklahoma. Students from other states constitute about 57%, while international students make up 4%.

Data indicates that all full-time undergraduates who began their studies at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. A total of 199 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $3.4 million, and 148 students obtained student loans exceeding $1.2 million.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 637 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $11.9 million. Additionally, 474 students borrowed a combined $3.1 million in federal student loans.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
