Tuition fees for Oklahoma residents attending Rogers State University decreased by 4.8% in the 2022-23 school year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Oklahoma residents paid $7,252 to enroll at the public four-year institution this year, which is $368 less than the $7,620 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students were charged $15,036 in tuition for the 2022-23 school year, representing a 107.3% increase over resident fees. This amount reflects a 5.8% reduction from the $15,960 tuition in 2021-22.

Approximately 95% of the undergraduate students at Rogers State University are Oklahoma residents, while about 2% come from other U.S. states and 3% are international students.

Data indicates that 92% of full-time undergraduates who began their studies at Rogers State University in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. A total of 326 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $2.3 million, and 171 students secured loans exceeding $1.5 million.

Among all undergraduate students, 1,937 received grants or scholarships totaling $15.9 million. Additionally, 1,089 students obtained federal student loans totaling $7.9 million.

Meanwhile, student loan debt has steadily increased over the last 30 years, reaching $1.75 trillion in 2024, averaging a total of $28,950 per borrower. Federal loans make up 92% of the debt, with over half of students at both public and private four-year colleges graduating with student loans.
