Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district since 2023, has shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Born in Ada, Oklahoma, Brecheen previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018 before joining Congress. His recent statements cover topics ranging from energy security to honoring military sacrifices.

On June 5, 2025, Congressman Brecheen expressed concerns over energy security in the United States. He tweeted that “We’ve known for years that the Chinese dominate the energy sector, largely due to foolish energy subsidies that prop up CCP industries—handing one of our adversaries the key to infiltrating our grid remotely. It’s an enormous security threat and the effects have sown countless”.

The following day, June 6, 2025, Brecheen took a moment to honor American soldiers who participated in D-Day during World War II. He tweeted “Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the thousands of American soldiers who stormed the beaches on D-Day. We remember and thank them for their bravery in defending freedom.”

Later on June 6, Brecheen posted another tweet without text content but included a link here.

Josh Brecheen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997 and currently resides in Coalgate.
