Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed law enforcement and immigration issues in a series of posts on social media.

On February 11, 2026, Brecheen stated, “If you don’t have law and order, you don’t have prosperity. The brave @ICEgov law enforcement officers are facing life and death questions every day, affording safety to our families by locking up the criminal aliens who are targeting American children. They deserve respect, not https://t.co/o7bFTl4dOr”.

Later that morning, he thanked a witness at a recent congressional hearing: “Thank you to Todd Lyons, who testified in our @HomelandGOP hearing yesterday. The anti-ICE protesters intentionally agitating and assaulting @CBP and @ICEgov have got to be stopped.”

In another post on the same day, Brecheen encouraged constituents to research information related to local arrests: “I urge everyone to go to the https://t.co/orb7XILyQT website and look at the list of illegal aliens arrested, not far from where you live, who have committed heinous acts against America’s children.”

Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. He previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
