Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district since 2023, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. A former member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018, Brecheen uses his platform to address topics ranging from abortion policies to immigration concerns.

On June 19, 2025, Congressman Brecheen expressed strong opposition to the Biden-Harris administration’s stance on abortion. He described it as “one of the defining evils of our time” and criticized their efforts to promote what he termed as an “evil” while allegedly lying about the safety of the abortion pill. He announced that he, alongside Senator Lankford and twenty House Republicans, had sent a letter to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) urging them to investigate. “Abortion is one of the defining evils of our time…”

In a follow-up tweet on June 19, Brecheen extended gratitude towards several co-signers who supported this initiative. The list included notable figures such as Senators Lummis and Banks, and Representatives Andy Harris MD and Robert Aderholt among others. “Thank you to our co-signers for your support…”

The following day, June 20, Brecheen addressed another issue regarding immigration policy. He criticized a U.S. Senator for seeking taxpayer funding aimed at aiding illegal aliens in evading Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Furthermore, he highlighted concerns over this assistance being channeled through a nonprofit organization reportedly funded by officials affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). According to him, these actions compromise national sovereignty and security. “It’s disgraceful that a U.S. Senator would seek taxpayer funding…”

Josh Brecheen was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and resides in Coalgate. An alumnus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
