On January 8, Brecheen invited veterans from Eastern Oklahoma experiencing delays with Veterans Affairs assistance to contact his office for support. He stated, “If you are a veteran from Eastern Oklahoma who is experiencing delays in VA assistance, please reach out to our office. We may be able to assist in expediting your case!”
Later that day, Brecheen commented on the international technology landscape and called for vigilance regarding foreign influence. In a post dated January 8 at 17:58 UTC he wrote, “We must be vigilant in curbing China’s influence over emerging AI technologies.”

Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District since replacing Markwayne Mullin in 2023. Prior to his tenure in Congress, he served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
