Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on his official social media account regarding White House tour postponements and local town hall meetings.
On August 28, 2025, Brecheen informed constituents about changes to scheduled White House tours: “Due to construction, all White House tours have been postponed for September. If you previously scheduled a tour through our office, please be on the lookout for a cancellation notice directly from the White House. Please reach out to our office at (202) 225 – 2701 if you have” (posted August 28, 2025).
Later that day, he expressed gratitude to participants at a local event: “A big thank you to everyone from Grove who attended our town hall! https://t.co/y4FNcBabZD” (posted August 28, 2025).
On August 29, Brecheen continued by acknowledging attendees at another community meeting: “Thank you to everyone who attended our town hall in Pryor! https://t.co/V7GM4dAxjW” (posted August 29, 2025).
Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Markwayne Mullin in 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
