Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has announced a series of public events and shared updates through his social media posts in August 2025.
On August 18, Brecheen invited constituents to participate in a series of community meetings: “We will be hosting 20 town halls during the month of August. Constituents are invited to attend, share their thoughts, and ask questions on policy issues impacting Oklahoma and our nation at large. https://t.co/Y3TOSIqmlS”.
Earlier in the month, he posted two other messages on his official account. On August 15, he shared a link: “https://t.co/mxftmnUaOy”. On August 17, he posted another link: “https://t.co/BHyIGlE1CE”.
Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before serving in Congress, Brecheen was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
