Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets on December 11, 2024. The tweets addressed upcoming events and political challenges.

On December 11, Brecheen announced an upcoming telephone town hall scheduled for Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00 PM CT. He encouraged participation by stating, “We will be hosting a telephone town hall on Tuesday, December 17th at 7:00 PM CT and we hope you can join us! If you don’t receive a call from us, you can still join the call by dialing 888-480-3675 at 7:00 PM next Tuesday.”

Later that day, Brecheen highlighted the importance of unity within their conference for addressing significant issues in the coming year. He emphasized this point by mentioning fellow Congressman Chip Roy’s role in facilitating agreement among members. Brecheen stated, “Given the big issues we will have to tackle with our narrow majority next year, @RepChipRoy’s ability to facilitate agreement within our conference will be paramount to maintaining unity.”

In another tweet on the same day, Brecheen expressed concerns about unidentified drones and called for decisive action from the government. He tweeted succinctly,”Our government needs to shoot these drones down to determine their origin.”
