He stated that “President Trump’s Secretary of Treasury confirming the House Freedom Caucus drove the One Big Beautiful Bill to be the MOST CONSERVATIVE POSSIBLE!”

The following day, July 5, 2025, he expressed his condolences regarding natural disasters affecting Texas. In his tweet, he said “Our family is praying for all those impacted by the heartbreaking flooding in Texas. May God bring peace and comfort to families facing the unbearable loss of precious loved ones and strengthen all first responders who are aiding in rescue efforts.” He included a reference to Psalm 34:18.

Later that same day, Brecheen posted another message indicating hope for positive outcomes amidst challenging circumstances. His brief statement read “Praying for more miraculous reports like this!!!”

Josh Brecheen has been serving as a U.S. Congressman since replacing Markwayne Mullin in 2023 and previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979, he resides in Coalgate and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
