Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on October 17 and 18, 2025, criticizing the Biden Administration and referencing ongoing political disputes.
On October 17, Brecheen wrote, “We cannot let the Biden Administration get away with violating the Constitution!” Later that day, he shared a tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/y6TOzuTCZN”. On October 18, he posted another message: “#SchumerShutdown Day 18 https://t.co/Es12xiaynv”.
Josh Brecheen has served as the representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before his tenure in Congress, Brecheen served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979, Brecheen is currently 43 years old and resides in Coalgate. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
