On March 16, 2025, Brecheen posted a tweet that expressed his disapproval of certain federally funded projects. He stated: “These are the types of leftist projects our federal government has been funding. The fact we were even funding this in the first place should concern every taxpayer. @SecRollins is putting an end to this craziness.”
The following day, March 17, 2025, Brecheen tweeted about a meeting with cadets from the Oklahoma Wing of the Civil Air Patrol. He commended their efforts by saying: “I recently met with the cadets from the Oklahoma Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, which is a civilian auxiliary unit of the United States Air Force. The work they do to serve Oklahoma and our nation is truly inspiring.”
