Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on recent legislative actions and constituent meetings through a series of posts on his official social media account.
On September 19, 2025, Brecheen announced his support for a funding measure, stating: “Today, I voted in favor of a continuing resolution (CR) that largely maintains current funding levels (clean) through November 21, 2025. While CRs are never optimal, given that we need seven Democrat votes to pass any funding bills in the Senate, I believe that passing this CR”.
Later the same day, Brecheen highlighted meetings with various groups and individuals from Oklahoma: “This week, I had the honor of speaking with multiple constituents and groups, including:

Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate at age 43, Brecheen graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
