Josh Brecheen, a Congressman representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district since 2023, shared his views on several issues through social media posts. Brecheen succeeded Markwayne Mullin and has been actively engaging in political discourse.

On February 7, 2025, Brecheen expressed support for former President Donald Trump’s approach to border security. He stated that “President @realDonaldTrump is restoring what we all know to be true: building physical barriers works to prevent illegal aliens from invading our nation. It’s just common sense!”

Later the same day, Brecheen announced legislative efforts from his office aimed at constitutional compliance within the executive branch. He tweeted about the BRIDLE Act, saying “Our office is working on a measure called the BRIDLE Act which would ensure that any actions taken in the executive branch fit within the scope of our constitution.”

In another post on February 7, 2025, Brecheen mentioned a meeting with Alex Cameron discussing fiscal policies and energy independence. He noted that “It was good to catch up with @AlexDCameron yesterday. We discussed the latest on budget negotiations and the importance of making America energy dominant again.”
