Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district, recently shared his views on legislative developments through a series of tweets. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023 after replacing Markwayne Mullin, Brecheen offers insights into the latest bill and its implications.

On May 23, 2025, Congressman Brecheen tweeted about a significant legislative achievement: “The final bill obtains a true repeal of Green New Scam wind and solar subsidies for new projects starting 60 days after the bill is signed into law.” He further mentioned that the bill advances Medicaid work requirements to 2026, emphasizing what he described as “restoring the dignity of work in America.”

In another tweet from the same day, Brecheen expressed concerns over certain provisions in the bill. He noted that these were influenced by liberal ideologies within some Republican members of the House of Representatives: “These provisions were a result of liberal ideologies…These ideologies are NOT in line with the mandate President.”

Additionally, Congressman Brecheen included a reference to a chart without further elaboration: “The chart: https://t.co/4ICulbfTRh”
