Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted a series of statements on social media addressing border security and legislative achievements.

On August 6, 2025, Brecheen credited the President for recent border enforcement efforts, stating: “Thanks to @POTUS’s leadership, the United States has reached a record low for illegal alien encounters at our borders. Law and order has been restored!”

The following day, on August 7, 2025, Brecheen highlighted the work of the Freedom Caucus: “Through countless hours of hard work and negotiation, the @freedomcaucus has delivered on its promise to uphold the Constitution, reduce spending, and restore the prosperity of our great nation. Josh Brecheen began serving in Congress in 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before his tenure in Washington D.C., he was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
