Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted his ongoing engagement with constituents through a series of town hall meetings across the state.
On August 27, 2025, Brecheen posted on social media about his interaction with residents in Bartlesville, stating, “It was great speaking with constituents during our Bartlesville Town Hall!” Later that day, he announced upcoming events: “Excited to visit with constituents from Poteau, Idabel, Hugo, Atoka, and Durant during our town halls on Thursday! For times and locations: https://t.co/pMr8T6gAqE https://t.co/tWjf3KMPPG”. On August 28, he acknowledged attendees at another meeting: “We appreciate everyone from Nowata who attended our town hall this week!”
Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before his tenure in Congress, Brecheen served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate at age 43, he is an alumnus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
