Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his official Twitter account addressing topics ranging from historical articles to government operations.
On October 13, 2025, Brecheen encouraged his followers to read an article by WallBuilders about Columbus, posting, “Check out this WallBuilders article on Columbus! https://t.co/ZhRHxpK9oA”.
The following day, October 14, 2025, Brecheen referenced ongoing political negotiations in Washington with the message, “#SchumerShutdown Day 14 https://t.co/4wjUOfQCwG”.
Later that same day, he voiced support for Russ Vought and efforts to reform federal bureaucracy, writing, “.@russvought – getting rid of the wasteful, woke, and weaponized bureaucracy one RIF at a time!! https://t.co/Bi5ae8EEr6”.
Brecheen has served as the representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023, succeeding Markwayne Mullin. He previously held office in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018 and was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979. Brecheen resides in Coalgate and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
