Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing legislative developments and political actions regarding healthcare.
On December 31, 2025, Brecheen wrote: “Despite shutting down the government over “healthcare concerns,” almost every House Democrat voted against the improved Republican healthcare plan, which would decrease premiums for all Americans by 11%.”

Josh Brecheen has served as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since replacing Markwayne Mullin in 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate at age 43, Brecheen graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
