Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his official social media account on February 10, 2026, addressing topics including immigration, medical policies affecting children, and economic commentary.

In one post from February 10, Brecheen stated: “Sharia and radical Islam have no place in America. Those unwilling to assimilate into the American way of life ought not be allowed into our nation.”

Later that day, he commented on medical policy debates: “Truth prevails! America’s children have been targeted by leftist medical policies for far too long.”

Brecheen also referenced economist Thomas Sowell in a third post: “Renowned economist Thomas Sowell is spot on.” (February 10).

Josh Brecheen has served as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. Before his tenure in Congress, Brecheen was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
