On June 14, 2025, Brecheen expressed his condolences following a tragic incident in Minnesota. “We’re praying for the families of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, as well as for the recovery of Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette, who were victims of last night’s horrific shooting in MN. May God be close to their loved ones and grant them supernatural comfort.” The message conveys sympathy towards those affected by the shooting.

Later that day, Brecheen celebrated Flag Day with a patriotic message. “One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Happy Flag Day, America! “ This tweet underscores his reverence for American values.

To all of the men and women of the U.S. Army who have put their lives on the line in defense of our freedoms. We will never forget your sacrifice and thank you for your service.” He also extended birthday wishes to President Biden within this context.
