Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared a series of posts on social media covering personal greetings and political reflections. A native of Ada, Oklahoma, Brecheen succeeded Markwayne Mullin and has a background in state politics from his tenure in the Oklahoma Senate.
On June 15, 2025, Congressman Brecheen posted on social media without any accompanying text.
Later that day, he extended a greeting to fathers everywhere with the message: “Happy Father’s Day!”
On June 17, 2025, Brecheen took to social media again to express his thoughts regarding former President Trump. He urged followers to be in prayer for Trump as he faces future decisions. Citing Mike Huckabee’s reference to divine wisdom, Brecheen included a passage from Isaiah 30:20-21: “May we all be in prayer for President Trump regarding the decisions ahead and that, as Mike Huckabee referenced, President Trump will lead with wisdom from above.”
Josh Brecheen was born in Ada in 1979 and currently resides in Coalgate. He holds a BS degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
