Josh Brecheen, a U.S. Congressman representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district since 2023, shared several thoughts and observations on social media recently. Brecheen has been active in politics for many years, having previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018.

On January 20, 2025, he posted about Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In his message, Brecheen reflected on King’s courage and principles: “As we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we remember his rare courage to stand up for what’s right, even in the face of great adversity.”

Later that day, Congressman Brecheen expressed enthusiasm for the inauguration of President Trump and Vice President Vance. He tweeted: “Getting ready to watch President Trump and Vice President Vance get sworn into office in the Capitol Rotunda. It’s a new day in America! “
