In a post published at 14:17 UTC, Brecheen wrote, “It was an honor to speak with everyone at our Okmulgee town hall! https://t.co/o4Zi9HYMLt”. Later that day at 17:12 UTC, he expressed gratitude for local engagement in Tahlequah, stating, “Thank you for attending our Tahlequah town hall! https://t.co/BFK611XITH”. By the evening of August 29, Brecheen added another update following a visit to Stilwell: “It was terrific speaking with constituents during our Stilwell town hall! https://t.co/nb04XzgqbI”.
Josh Brecheen has served as the representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 and previously held office in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. He succeeded Markwayne Mullin in Congress and is originally from Ada, Oklahoma. Now aged 43 and residing in Coalgate, Brecheen earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997.
