Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district since 2023, shared his perspectives on the inauguration of President Trump through a series of tweets. Brecheen, who succeeded Markwayne Mullin and previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018, provided insights into his experiences and expectations for the new administration.
On January 20, 2025, Congressman Brecheen posted about his experience inside the Capitol Rotunda during President Trump’s inauguration. He expressed enthusiasm with the statement: “The view from inside of the Capitol Rotunda for President Trump’s Inauguration! “
In another tweet on the same day, Brecheen highlighted his camaraderie with fellow Congressman Eli Crane as they prepared for what he termed “the Golden Age of America.” He wrote: “It’s great to be with my friend and colleague @RepEliCrane as we get ready for President Trump to usher in the Golden Age of America.”
Brecheen also expressed optimism about America’s future under President Trump’s leadership. On January 20, he tweeted: “America’s Golden Age Begins: Peace through strength will return. Our southern border will be secure. The American Dream will be restored. Excited to work with the Trump Administration and my House Republican colleagues to deliver on the America First agenda! “
