On July 6, 2025, Congressman Brecheen expressed gratitude for the dedication of law enforcement professionals. He stated: “Thank God for our courageous law enforcement professionals protecting all of us!!!”

Josh Brecheen was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently resides in Coalgate. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Prior to serving in Congress, he was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018.
