Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently expressed appreciation for constituents attending a series of town hall meetings across northeastern Oklahoma.
On August 28, 2025, Brecheen posted on his social media accounts about three separate town halls held in Vinita, Miami, and Claremore. In a post from early that morning, he wrote: “Thank you for joining us at our Vinita town hall! https://t.co/pGqs9kd3k6” (August 28, 2025).
Later the same day, Brecheen acknowledged participation at another event: “Grateful for the turnout at our Miami town hall! https://t.co/s60ePYpcUk” (August 28, 2025).
By the afternoon, he thanked attendees from a third location: “Thank you to everyone from Claremore who showed up for our Wednesday town hall! https://t.co/d2vvhPkHv6” (August 28, 2025).
Josh Brecheen has served as the U.S. Representative for Oklahoma’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Markwayne Mullin. He previously represented his community in the Oklahoma Senate between 2010 and 2018. Born in Ada in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate, Brecheen is an alumnus of Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1997.
