Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, expressed appreciation for constituents attending recent town halls in Checotah, Muskogee, and Wagoner through a series of social media posts on August 27, 2025.
In his first post of the day, Brecheen wrote: “Grateful to everyone from Checotah who came to our town halls this week! https://t.co/p4W3Ued6AY” (August 27, 2025).
Later that morning, he posted: “Thank you, Muskogee! It was great speaking with you during our town hall! https://t.co/C5u1l7gNDR” (August 27, 2025).
In the afternoon, Brecheen shared: “It was wonderful speaking with everyone who attended our Wagoner Town Hall! https://t.co/OnUNnYWq3b” (August 27, 2025).
Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Markwayne Mullin in 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. Born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently residing in Coalgate at age 43, Brecheen graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
