Congressman Josh Brecheen, who represents Oklahoma’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on his official social media account between March 27 and March 29, 2026.

On March 28, Brecheen stated his position regarding recent legislative activity: “Today, I voted in favor of a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the Department of Homeland Security through May 22, 2026. While CRs are never ideal, the DHS funding bill that the Senate passed by voice at 3am on Friday failed to fund the salaries of hardworking law enforcement”.

Other posts made during this period included links shared without accompanying commentary on both March 27 (https://t.co/wO6KiApNEB) and March 29 (https://t.co/0cZyJFMJkA).

Josh Brecheen has represented Oklahoma’s 2nd District in Congress since 2023 and previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma in 1979 and currently resides in Coalgate. Brecheen graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.
