OVERVIEW

#8 Men’s Basketball faced off against the #22 Southwestern College Moundbuilders for the KCAC Tournament Semifinal and a chance at the Championship game on Monday.

Falling to the Moundbuilders 98-73, the Eagles now have an overall record of 26-4.

HIGHLIGHTS

Q1: 52-38

Q2: 35-46

Southwestern started the game off with an 8-0 lead over the Eagles, keeping the lead throughout the rest of the game.

Kaleb Stokes and Jaden Lietzke kept the Eagles in scoring distance, both in double digits; Stokes with 12 and Lietzke with 19.  Along with that, both Eagles contributed greatly to the accumulated rebounds.

The Moundbuilders outshot the Eagles 50.0 to 27.3 percent from beyond the arc and 73.3 to 63 percent in the paint; ultimately giving them the win.

UPCOMING EVENTS

The Eagles await their final seating in the national polls and their determination of location in the NAIA National Tournament Opening Rounds.
