OVERVIEW

OKWU Baseball started out their season at #17 in the NAIA National Coaches Poll for the 2023 season. After going 16-4, the Eagles have improved to #11 in the latest poll and look to continue moving up with games to come.

HIGHLIGHTS

Through 20 games, 2 Eagles have stepped to the plate and average a .475 batting average; Noah Adams & Jordyn Smith.The Eagles have gone on to hit 35 home runs in 20 games and have a team batting average of .367.

On the mound, the three starters for the Eagles; Kellen Brothers, Evan Foor, and Michael Mendoza have been a force for the Eagles and continue to impress the KCAC as Brothers is now 2x KCAC pitcher of the week.

Three of the four Eagles losses come from #1 ranked Southeastern (FL) when the Eagles traveled to Florida for a week series with the Fire.
