Women’s Basketball went head to head with Kansas Wesleyan University leaning towards the end of their KCAC regular season play. The Lady Eagles looked to come off of a loss on the road in order to make their way up in the KCAC standings.
Falling to the Lady Coyotes 64-52, the Lady Eagles are now 8-16 overall and 7-11 in KCAC play.

Starting off the first half slow, the Lady Eagles came to life the second half. Going on a 10-0 run throughout the second half, the Lady Eagles cut the deficit to only an 8-point trail heading into the second half.
River Jeffries & Mahaley Farmer led the Lady Eagles throughout the majority of the night. Jeffries scoring 19 points in 34 minutes of play, going 8-18 in field goal makes per attempt and 1-2 beyond the arc. Farmer had herself a double double on the night, scoring 16 points and accumulating 14 rebounds; a personal best.
The Lady Eagles were outshot 44.1% to 29.9% in the paint, which ultimately gave them the trail.
