Oklahoma Wesleyan University Natalia Quiroz Dominates Throughout the 22-23 Cross Country Season

Oklahoma Wesleyan’s very own Natalia Quiroz set high standards this year in the sport of cross country here in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

HIGHLIGHTS

In early October, Quiroz beat the all-time OKWU record for the 5K race, running it in 18:48:08. The previous record was held by Ally Antrum in 2010 with a time of 18:54:07.

Quiroz had two 1st place finishes this season with a win at the NEOSHO meet and the Bethel College Meet.

Quiroz took part in the KCAC Championship Meet on November 6th and placed 7th out of 91 athletes. Finishing within the Top 10, Quiroz officially qualified for the NAIA National Championship Meet in Tallahassee, Florida.

Representing OKWU in Tallahassee, Quiroz placed 99th out of 326 athletes, running an 18:52 5K.
