Rogers State University Hillcats Move Up To Fifth After Second Day Of Golfweek Fall Invitational

Rogers State women's golf completed the second day of play at the Golfweek Division II Fall Invitational on Monday.

 

After 36 holes at the Par 71, 5,827 yard Raven Golf Club, the Hillcats moved up to fifth place after turning in a card of 606 (+38).

 

Marelda Ayal and Lydia Sitorus both led the Hillcats in a tie for ninth place after shooting 147 (+5) so far in the tournament. Sitorus shot a 70 (-1) on the day, while Ayal shot an even par 71.

 

Jaelynn Unger sits in a tie for 18th with a card of 152 (+10) after shooting her first competitive collegiate round under par with a 70 (-1) on the day. Brianna Maddux sits in a three-way tie for 38th with a 161 (+19). Kristin Gudmundsdottir rounds out the group in a three-way tie for 41st with a 162 (+20).

 

The Hillcats will close out the tournament with the final round tomorrow. The first group is set to tee off at 8:44 a.m.
