After three seasons as head coach of the Oral Roberts volleyball team, ORU athletic administration has decided to make a change in leadership of the Golden Eagle volleyball program, it was announced Wednesday.Statement from ORU Athletic Director Tim Johnson"Today I informed Frank Craig III and our volleyball team that a change will be made in the head coach position effective immediately.We would like to thank Coach Craig for his three years of service as our head coach and for his dedication to ORU for the past eight years on our volleyball coaching staff. After assessing the program, we felt it was necessary to go in a different direction with leadership. We are focused on building a championship culture while elevating the program to compete at the highest level and developing young women in mind, body, and spirit. A nationwide search for the next head coach will begin immediately."
Craig was named head coach of ORU volleyball in March 2020 after spending two seasons as an assistant coach. Prior to being an assistant coach, he served as a graduate assistant for three seasons. During his time at the helm, the Golden Eagles went 30-47 (.389) overall and 20-32 (.384) in Summit League play.
