Rogers State women's golf closed out play at The Southern Invite on Tuesday to open the spring season.
After three rounds at the Par 72, 6,035 yard Cypresswood Golf Club, the Hillcats finished fourth with a card of 906 (+42). In the third round, RSU shot the low round of the day shooting 298 (+10).
Lydia Sitorus led the Hillcats with a tie for second place shooting 218 (+2). The sophomore sank nine birdies over the three rounds.
Marelda Ayal finished in a four-way tie for 20th with a card of 225 (+9). Ellen Loving finished in a tie for 34th with a 231 (+15). Jaelynn Unger finished in a three-way tie for 51st with a 236 (+20). Raquel Flores rounded out the group in a five-way tie for 55th shooting 238 (+22).
Playing as an individual, Brianna Maddux also finished in the five-way tie with a card of 238 (+22).
The Hillcats will be back in action on Monday, March 13th as they host the Eighth Annual Hillcat Classic at Bailey Ranch Golf Club in Owasso, Okla.
