Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma's 2nd District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared his perspectives on governmental issues through a series of tweets. Brecheen, who succeeded Markwayne Mullin and has previously served in the Oklahoma Senate, used social media to communicate his positions on government funding and federal policies.

On March 11, 2025, Congressman Brecheen posted about a meeting with President Donald Trump. He wrote about discussing fiscal matters alongside other members of the Freedom Caucus at the Oval Office. Brecheen stated: "Had the recent privilege to speak with President @realDonaldTrump alongside fellow fiscal hawks and @freedomcaucus members at the Oval Office to discuss the President’s request of a continuing resolution to keep the government funded through September."

Later that day, he addressed concerns over federal spending inefficiencies by acknowledging support from a notable figure in technology and business. In his tweet at 19:33 UTC, he remarked: "Elimanting the waste, fraud and abuse found in our federal government is common sense. Thank you, @ElonMusk."

Continuing his commentary on international affairs, Brecheen expressed criticism regarding foreign policy priorities compared to domestic interests. At 20:16 UTC on March 11th, he tweeted: "The swamp put Ukraine’s borders over America’s. This is all coming to an end with President @realDonaldTrump back in charge!"
