Congressman Josh Brecheen from Oklahoma’s 2nd district shared his views and information through several tweets recently. An elected official since 2023, Brecheen previously served in the Oklahoma Senate and continues to communicate with the public through social media.

On April 14, 2025, Brecheen posted about a study claiming that “California is funneling billions of federal taxpayer dollars into paying for illegal immigrants’ healthcare.” He emphasized the need for urgency in reforming Medicaid, echoing his concerns over resource allocation in the healthcare system, “Wasting precious resources like this is exactly why there needs to be urgency in REFORMING Medicaid.”

On April 15, 2025, Brecheen offered assistance to constituents struggling with federal agencies. He provided contact avenues, stating, “If you need assistance with a federal agency, please visit our website or call our district office.” This tweet underscores his commitment to constituent services.

Also, on April 15, 2025, Brecheen reflected on the significance of faith during Faith Month. He celebrated faith's role in shaping the nation and reminded his followers, “No matter how big the battle might seem, faith in God should be our driving force in doing what is right and good.” With this message, he highlighted the enduring influence of faith.

Josh Brecheen has been serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district. He replaced Markwayne Mullin in this role in 2023. Brecheen, 43, was born in Ada, Oklahoma, and resides in Coalgate. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1997 with a BS.
