In a series of recent Twitter posts, Congressman Josh Brecheen, currently representing Oklahoma’s 2nd district, shared his perspectives on several topics of national concern. Brecheen, who succeeded Markwayne Mullin in 2023, has been active in U.S. Congress advocating for various issues. He brings a rigorous background from his previous tenure in the Oklahoma Senate (2010-2018) and his academic foundation from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, which he completed in 1997.

On April 16, 2025, Congressman Brecheen highlighted a statistic regarding Medicaid, stating, “More than six in 10 able-bodied adults on Medicaid report no earned income, according to a report from @TheFGA.” He added that this current situation, as he perceives, "does not match the original intent of Medicaid."

Later that day, Brecheen posted another message on Twitter, simply saying "Amen." The context or subject this comment addresses was not directly clarified in the tweet.

Concluding his remarks for the day, Brecheen emphasized the importance of advocating for life in his tweet, stating, "We must continue to promote a culture of life in America for the born and unborn. This action will save countless innocent lives."

Josh Brecheen continues to voice his dedication to key issues from a policy position supported by his experience and personal histories, such as his upbringing in Ada, Oklahoma, and life in Coalgate.
