Bartlesville Police Department Spotlight Officer Corey Boyd

Officer Corey Boyd was born in Germany and grew up in Lawton Oklahoma, where he attended and graduated from Eisenhower High School. He has a Bachelors degree in finance from SWOSU.

His law enforcement career started in Ada Ok in August of 2013 and he graduated CLEET in August 2014. Officer Boyd is the President of the FOP Lodge 117, a Rangemaster/Firearms Instructor, a SOT Member, a Serious Accident Response Team, a Gracie Survival Tactics Instructor, Milo Instructor, a Field Training Officer and a LASER (Active Shooter) Instructor.

Officer Boyd has a family history of military service and his uncle was at one point a Police Chief. This inspired him to choose working in law enforcement to serve the great community he lives in.

Officer Boyd is married to Chelsea, also a BPD employee and they share two dogs, Stella and Dreamy. His hobbies include Jiu Jitsu, Firearms, Reloading, Cigars, Scuba Diving; where he has his PADI certification for beginner/advanced/rescue diving scuba
