Congressman Josh Brecheen, currently serving Oklahoma's 2nd district, has shared his views on border security and immigration enforcement via social media. First elected to the U.S. Congress in 2023, Brecheen had previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018. On April 4, 2025, he took to social media to express his views on several issues.
On April 4, 2025, Brecheen commented on the leadership and actions of former President Donald Trump, stating, "President @realDonaldTrump and @RealTomHoman are showing that with strong leadership, you can secure the border and save innocent lives."
Later that same day, Brecheen criticized the narrative regarding Americans’ stance on deportations. He tweeted, "Americans overwhelmingly support mass deportations of criminal illegal aliens, contrary to the narrative that is being pushed by the left. MS-13 gang members who prey on innocent American citizens have no place staying in our country."
In another post on April 4, 2025, Brecheen expressed his support and respect for law enforcement, simply stating, "Our law enforcement officers are heroes."
