Women's Basketball continued KCAC play in North Newton, KS, on November 28th against the Bethel College Threshers. Coming into the game, both the Lady Eagles and Threshers were 1-2 in KCAC play.
Defeating Bethel College 74-68, the Lady Eagles took the advantage and improved to 2-2 in KCAC play, and 3-6 overall.

The Lady Eagles were able to turn it up a notch in the third and fourth quarter, which proved to be crucial in their victory. The Bethel College Threshers slightly outscored the Lady Eagles in both the first and second quarters, but the Lady Eagles responded, outscoring the Threshers by a total of 13 points in the third and fourth quarter which lead to a Lady Eagle win.
Offensively, Zariah Tillman led the Lady Eagles with 21 points, followed by Jessa Gilyard (13), Cierra Johnson (12), and Ty'Najah Mitchell (10). Additionally, the Lady Eagles shot for an impressive 81% in Free Throw Attempts.
Defensively, Jessa Gilyard took charge, followed by Zariah Tillman and Sydnee Schovanec, with a combined 20 rebounds. Ty'Najah Mitchell also got herself 3 steals within her 30 minutes of play.
Although the Threshers defense played well, it was no match for the impressive Lady Eagle's offense, shooting 40% from within and behind the three-point line.
