Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma's 2nd district, has recently shared his views on border security through a series of tweets. Brecheen, who succeeded Markwayne Mullin in 2023 and previously served in the Oklahoma Senate from 2010 to 2018, expressed concerns about current immigration policies under the Biden-Harris administration.
On December 9, 2024, Brecheen tweeted that "Prominent Democrats were supportive of physical barriers for the longest time at our southern border until it wasn’t politically convenient anymore. The safety and protection of our own people should always come first."

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Brecheen outlined his proposed solutions: "Finish the wall. Begin mass deportations. End child trafficking. That’s how we tackle the border crisis facing America."
