Congressman Josh Brecheen, representing Oklahoma's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his views on several legislative and political issues through a series of tweets. Brecheen, who succeeded Markwayne Mullin in 2023, has been active in addressing matters concerning national security and public safety.

On January 23, 2025, Congressman Brecheen expressed his support for the Laken Riley Act. He stated: "I was proud to vote YES tonight on the Laken Riley Act. This legislation will empower ICE to remove illegal aliens who commit crimes from our streets before more innocent Americans are harmed." He further mentioned that communities would be safer once President Trump signs this act.

In another tweet posted later that day, Brecheen discussed his appearance on Washington Watch with Jody Hice: "Joined Washington Watch with Jody Hice on Tuesday to discuss President Trump's historic inauguration and his recent executive orders to secure the southern border." He encouraged followers to watch the full interview.

Brecheen also introduced a resolution condemning a message delivered at President Trump's National Prayer Service. On January 23, he tweeted: "Today, I introduced a resolution to fully condemn the distorted message that was preached at President Trump during the National Prayer Service on Monday." He urged colleagues for swift action on this resolution.
